I am a structural microeconomist studying inequality, the U.S. health market, health care access, and affordable housing. I am also an expert in the debit card industry in the US as well as cross-border payments.
I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. I obtained my Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Tom Holmes and Professor Amil Petrin.
I am also an Affiliate Scholar at the Heller-Hurwicz Economics Institute (HHEI). I collaborate with HHEI on policy briefs and I have been one of the mentors for the Women in Economics program in collaboration with the Department of Economics at the University of Minnesota since 2020.
I serve as a Director and Secretary to the Board on the Board of Directors of the FRB Federal Credit Union.
I previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis with Dr. James A. Schmitz, Jr.
